This Historic Antebellum Southern Plantation is a handsome Greek Revival that will welcome you and your guest with a two-tier porch and Doric and Ionic columns, a wide central hall and winding staircase. We offer antique interiors, heart of pine floors and simple décor that guests can personalize.
Southern Charm Wedding is a lovely setting for any event. Guests may create their personal event by choosing their own caterers, florist, photographers and vendors. We are flexible in customizing ceremonies, weddings, showers, and special events.
The Atkinson-Smith House was built about 1850, and is a two-story, three bay, Greek Revival style frame dwelling. It has a low hipped roof and exterior end chimneys.
The front facade features a two-tier superimposed tetrastyle entrance portico with fluted Doric order columns. It was the home of Congressman William A. Smith (1828-1888).[2]
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on June 5, 1975
